What is a cutoff date?
It is the reference date used for this examination’s age assessment: 11 November 2026. Your age today or on the examination day is not used in this calculation.
Does the limit include several months after my birthday?
Do not round your age down to completed years. SPSC Regulation 55 requires years, months and days. An exact upper limit of 33 is exceeded at 33 years and one day. CSS birthday-boundary verification is still pending here.
Does an extended application deadline change the cutoff?
Not automatically. For CCE 2026, Advertisement 06/2026 expressly specifies 11 November 2026. For succeeding years it specifies 1 September. Read the notice for the selected year.
Can I combine age relaxations?
This checker never adds concessions together automatically. In particular, the SPSC general limit of 33 does not establish a government-service limit of 38.
Do unused attempts or a screening pass confirm eligibility?
No. Age, attempts, qualifications, domicile and documentary conditions are separate checks. This tool assesses age only; a screening pass does not settle the other requirements.
What if my documents show different birth dates?
Use the date in your matriculation/equivalent certificate. SPSC Regulations 51–53 set the documentary preference. Ask the commission about conflicting records before relying on a result.
Why can I not select another year?
SOA only lists examination records prepared for this tool. Rules and temporary concessions are not automatically carried into a different year.
Is my birth date saved?
No. This checker processes your answers in your browser and does not submit them to SOA. Copying or printing a result includes the details you entered.
